Course focused on the identification, safe handling, and response to the presence of hazardous chemicals, in accordance with the guidelines of NOM-018, NOM-005, and NOM-010-STPS.

The participant will acquire knowledge to interpret safety data sheets (SDS) and apply preventive and control procedures in risk situations.

Course topics:

• Identification and handling of hazardous chemicals.

• Development of emergency action plans.

• Response to leaks or spills.

• Zoning of affected areas.

• Decontamination procedures.

• Levels of personal protective equipment (A, B, C).

• Use of self-contained breathing apparatus.

• Using the Chemical Emergency Response Guide (CERG).

This training strengthens personnel's operational capacity to respond effectively to chemical emergencies, reducing risks to health, the environment, and the continuity of operations.
