This course focuses on the identification, safe handling, and response to the presence of hazardous chemical substances, in accordance with the standards NOM-018, NOM-005, and NOM-010-STPS.

Participants will gain the knowledge to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and apply preventive and control procedures in risk situations.

• Identification and handling of hazardous chemical substances

• Development of emergency action plans

• Response to leaks or spills

• Zoning of affected areas

• Decontamination procedures

• Levels of personal protective equipment (A, B, C)

• Use of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)

• Use of the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG)

This training strengthens personnel's operational capacity to respond effectively to chemical emergencies, reducing risks to health, the environment, and the continuity of operations.
